TRANCE - Samaadhi

A spiritual state of consciousness, where the experiencing and the experienced become one. This piece shows the quest of human mind to achieve a total equilibrium, intentionally or unintentionally where the constant or repeated feeling of any emotion- anger, desire, sorrow or excitement takes one to a state of trance. The production aims to convey the age long idea of balancing the yin and yang in oneself and strike that balance where one can think through in a very transparent manner. Concentrating on varied movements & using various dance techniques, this is a theatrical dance production inspired by dance, yoga, fashion and technology.

The Wolf Project

vbb Can you fight monsters without becoming one yourself? In a precarious age of lone wolf terrorism and rise of old extremisms in new uniforms, Roosna & Flak reflect on the experience of living under the yoke of totalitarian ideas in an evening-length dance performance where emotional catharsis gets a whole new definition.

Art Exhibition

‘A picture says a thousand words’ With this belief we, at Odisha Biennale are organising an art exhibition for you to come and experience the enthralling abstractness which every painting carries. Each shade says something, each stroke says something. An artist’s mind is like a deep ocean from where he churns out the pearls and throws them on his canvas. We, strive to bring such painters into limelight by promoting them and their work.  Some say that – ‘A great painting is one which can be describes about easily’ while others argue that – A great painting is one which needs/ can’t be put into mere words. So, visit us and let us know to which school of thought you belong to.
